Baiju Ezhupunna's Brother Shelju Passes Away

Malayalam actor Baiju Ezhupunna is mourning the untimely loss of his younger brother, Shelju Jonappan Moolakkuzhi, who passed away at the age of 49. According to reports, Shelju suffered a fatal heart attack. The funeral is scheduled to take place on November 27, 2024, at 4 PM at St. Sebastian's Church in Alappuzha, Kerala.

Politician A.M. Ariff, a close family friend, shared the news of Shelju's passing on social media, expressing deep sorrow. In a heartfelt Facebook post written in Malayalam, Ariff said, “For the past two decades, I shared a close bond with Shelju and his family. His sudden and unexpected departure is a profound loss. Heartfelt condolences to Baiju and the entire family.”

Baiju Ezhupunna, a well-known name in the Malayalam film industry, is celebrated for his versatile roles, particularly as antagonists and in comedy. He made his acting debut in 1991 with the comedy film Irikku MD Akathundu, directed by P.G. Vishwamharan. Over the years, Baiju has delivered memorable performances in movies like First Bell, Pathram, Udayapuram Sulthan, James Bond, Vellinakshatram, and Pachakuthira. His recent role in the feel-good drama Vishesham, directed by Sooraj Thomas, was widely appreciated.

Baiju's contributions to the industry extend beyond acting; he directed the 2013 film KQ, showcasing his talent behind the camera.
